The Myrtle Beach Marathon is back by popular demand!
Each year thousands of visitors and locals come together and participate in Myrtle Beach’s biggest race event of the year. The 19th Annual Myrtle Beach Marathon will take place March 3rd-5th. Marathon participants and organizes support area charities through the race including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Carolina, the Coastal South Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross and Horry County Schools.
Runners love coming to Myrtle Beach and enjoying the fast and flat course, perfect for setting personal best records. The marathon hosts both a full and half marathon that will take runners through the downtown Myrtle Beach area, into The Market Common and along Ocean Boulevard. You can see the finish line at TicketReturn.com Field, which is home to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

Race Expo – Thursday 3/3/16; 5pm – 9pm
Friday 3/4/16; 11am – 9pm
Ripleys Family Fun Run – 3/4/16; 5:30pm
PNC Bank Neon Night 5K – 3/4/16; 7 pm
Myrtle Beach Marathon, Dasani Half Marathon, WPDE Marathon Relay – 3/5/16; 6:30 am
The House of Blues and Ripley’s Aquarium will both host an after party event on Saturday, March 5th. Tickets are free for those who ran in the marathon and are $20 for non-participants. The events are both filled with drinks, food and great entertainment.
